Ronan Keating is a singer/songwriter and musician from Dublin who got his start in the music scene in 1994 as the lead singer of Boyzone. Since he started his solo career in 1999, Keating proved to be a successful one-man act with his first single, a version of "When You Say Nothing At All" from the film Notting HIll that peaked at number one of the UK singles chart. Though his 2000 debut album Ronan, received negative reviews from critics, it became one of the top selling albums of the year in the UK and featured four UK and Irish Top Ten singles. After releasing four more solo albums, he confirmed an extensive reunion tour for Boyzone in 2007 during which the boy band visited most of Europe's biggest venues. Keating continues to record his own material as well as tour with Boyzone, joining the band on its 2011 tour of Ireland and the UK.
