The New Black is a heavy metal outfit that is known for mixing hard rock and groove metal. Based in Wurzburg, Bavaria the group first exposed its signature Southern Germany style on its eponymous debut album in 2009. The New Black went on to open for bands like Black Label Society and AD/DC while also pushing its boundaries on records like 2013's III: Cut Loose and 2016's A Monster's Life.
