Nat Baldwin

Nat Baldwin is a singer/songwriter and musician who is best-known as the upright bassist of Dirty Projectors. Classically trained under prolific free jazz artist Anton Braxton, he crafts an emotional aesthetic, but while most of his contemporaries fall victim to tried pop structures, he has dedicated his career to innovation. With a focus on extended techniques and often turning to improvisation, he croons over a massive double bass for a raw, anxious sound.
