Slackbaba is a UK electronic producer who combines ethereal chill out music, psychedelia, dub and mishmashes of several other sub-genres into a slick, dance-friendly whole. His 2006 debut album, And the Beat Goes Om?, was met with large amounts of praise from both critics and electronic fans alike. This initial success led to shows across the globe supporting the likes of System 7, Shpongle and The Orb, all of which helped expose Slackbaba to an even wider audience. Recently adding a healthy amount of influence from the wobbly bass lines of dubstep to his repertoire, the Brighton DJ has proven his ability to adapt tastefully to the sounds of modern electronic trends. His work has recently broken into the mainstream after being included in video game soundtracks for the Nintendo Wii.
