Rusty is an alternative rock band from Toronto, Canada that enjoyed a rather successful six year run in the 1990s as one of Canada's more promising alternative acts. Although the band never truly reached the level of mainstream success as many of its contemporaries in the United States, Rusty's debut album Fluke is generally considered to be one of the band's more original contributions to the genre, and was nominated for Canada's coveted Juno Award for "Best Alternative Album" in 1996. Since performing their final show in 2000, the members of Rusty decided to reunite due to popular demand at Canada's world renowned North By Northeast music festival in 2011.
