Memphis

Memphis is an indie rock duo composed of long-time friends Chris Dumont and Torquill Campbell. Based in Vancouver, the duo crafts an alternative rock sound reminiscent of the early 1990s, when the two artists met and began initial collaborations. Bonding over guitar-driven songwriting, they released their first record under the moniker Memphis, A Good Day Sailing, with Le Grand Magistery Records in 2002. Memphis has since continued to record and release new material, such as 2011's Here Comes a City.
