Harlan Pepper

Despite their rather young age, the teenage members of Harlan Pepper could easily be confused with a group of folk veterans that have been making music since the 1960s. Incorporating an array of traditional folk and bluegrass instruments, including the banjo, harmonica and pedal steel guitar, the four-piece manages to create an alternative country-meets-vintage folk rock sound that showcases each member's evident instrumental skill and knowledge of music history. Based out of Hamilton, Ontario, Harlan Pepper has already become a favorite on Canadian Radio, since forming in 2010, and will undoubtedly continue to amass fans and prestige.
