Working within the more sinister fringes of swirling psychedelia, TV Ghost creates visceral music that revels in unrelenting post punk and noise rock influences. The Lafayette, Indiana four-piece takes its cues from artsy, punk-minded groups such as The Melvins, combining a scuzzy, buzzsaw guitar attack with healthy amounts of dissonance, frenetic rhythms and effects pedal-driven noise. The band's ramshackle and intense sound is undoubtedly made for the raw, unpredictable nature of live performances, and as such, is slowly but surely gaining the attention of underground rock fans throughout the US. After the word-of-mouth success of its two vinyl EPs, TV Ghost is now signed to the popular indie rock imprint, In the Red Records.
