Walking the line between grungy alternative rock and more experimental indie rock, San Diego-based four-piece Transfer has been able to attract a diverse audience. First receiving its break after its single “Smoke of the Crowd” was featured on a Playstation MLB video game in 2006, the group went on to win multiple awards in its native city and soon developed an extensive fan base in the UK. With its catchy, guitar-driven rock and roll, Transfer garnered opening slots for tours with Brandon Flowers, of The Killers, as well as The Bravery and White Lies--all of which helped further extend Transfer's fame.
