DJ SS is an English electronic producer and drum and bass DJ. Interested in music from an early age, he immersed himself in breakdancing, electro music and hip-hop culture as a teenager in the 1980s. Soon, he turned his attention to drum and bass music, helping develop the form throughout the 1990s while becoming a fixture of the UK rave scene. In addition to crafting his original drum and bass productions and remaining an in-demand DJ worldwide, DJ SS helps operate Formation Records, a label he co-founded and now heads.
