Fingers of the Sun

Similar in spirit to fellow trippy psych-rock revivalists such as The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Fingers of the Sun is a six-piece outfit based out of Denver, Colorado. It's easy to spot the band's heavy influences, as it cites 1960s psychedelic stalwarts like Syd Barrett and Arthur Lee as just a couple of its main inspirations. What Fingers of the Sun may lack in overtly modern elements however, it makes up for in spades with rock solid songwriting and four-part harmonies that elevate the songs to shimmering vocal highs, while still maintaining plenty of woozy psychedelic groove.
