Bad Weather California

Formed in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Bad Weather California channels the jangly, freewheeling spirit of the late-1960s and early-1970s. Acoustically-based, yet a rock band through-and-through, the four-piece evokes both the druggy playfulness of Woodstock era naivety and the darkly-tinged feel of modern neo-psychedelia as churned out by groups like The Brian Jonestown Massacre. Bad Weather California has yet to stretch its legs much beyond its home confines of Colorado, but with recent performances alongside the likes of Beach House and Papercuts, that shouldn't remain an issue for long.
