Country Mice

Brooklyn band Country Mice combine their southern country rock roots with the Yankee sounds of punk rock and psychedelic rock. Unlike the chilling sounds of The Black Angels, Country Mice put a bit more sun into their step. Other songs feature a more stripped down aesthetic, foregrounding guitar in a ballad-style for a nostalgic country music sound. The band's debut album is titled Transmissions, and was released on both CD and cassette.
