Formed when Alex Koons and Fabian Ordorica met while working at Hollywood Sound Studios in 2007, LexiconDon soon became a full-fledged four-piece and attracted a broad fan base almost immediately. The Los Angeles-based band began combining synthpop with pop punk, but instead of falling into the synthpunk genre, the group created an extremely danceable and accessible blend that is at home at teenage dance clubs and as it could potentially be on Top 40 radio. With lyrical content that generally centers on young heartbreak and a loss of youthful innocence, the band portrays a sense of nostalgia, but only while maintaining upbeat grooves. Since the release of its 2010 debut album, LexiconDon has toured the country extensively.
