Carlos Jean is a Spanish electronic DJ and producer. Originally a member of indie band Najwajean, Jean went solo in 2000 and launched the Plan B initiative in 2011 as a means of forming connections and collaborating among artists. Jean has been nominated for seven Latin Grammy awards and provides high-energy, danceable mixes for electronica enthusiasts all over the world. He is also known for his charity work following the 2010 Haiti earthquake, which included a charity single involving more than 25 artists from the Spanish and South American music communities. The song reached number one on the singles chart in Spain and raised money and awareness for the victims of the disaster.
