The four Londoners who make up the hip-hop ensemble Foreign Beggars joined forces in 1996 to create a cocktail of grime and dubstep. Though the first form of the project began making music in 1996, the four-piece added its final piece in the early 2000s to complete the lineup of DJ Nonames, producer Dag Nabbit and MCs Orifice Vulgatron and Metropolis. Foreign Beggars released its debut album Asylum Speakers in 2003, earning both critical and industry acclaim and kicking off a string of releases by the group. The crew released slew of material in the next decade including five more albums, including its 2012 effort The Uprising, and over a dozen singles while also finding time to collaborate with prominent electronic and hip-hop artists such as Skrillex.
