James Pants

James Pants is a musician from Austin, Texas whose music, though nearly impossible to categorize in easy terms--is an eclectic blend of electronica, noise rock and hip-hop. Pants was discovered by Peanut Butter Wolf, a DJ and head of the respected label Stones Throw Records, while Pants was still in high school. Releasing his debut LP, Welcome, in 2008 to receptive ears, Pants' sound has been lauded for its originality and the complex sonic layers that permeate throughout nearly every song he creates.
