A blend of country, rock and pop defines the music of the Alabama-born singer-songwriter Walker Hayes. His natural talent for music was evident early on from the time he first began to play the piano as a child. In 2004, he relocated to Nashville where he found success as a songwriter and solo artist releasing his first single "Pants" in 2010, followed by his debut album Reasons to Rhyme three years later. With this modest victory under his belt, Walker set up a songwriting studio called "the shack" from which emerged two collections of experimental work titled 8Tracks: Vol. 1 and 2. With a brand new following, Walker released his sophomore album Boom in 2017, featuring the much-acclaimed single "You Broke Up With Me."
