Few artists defy description or genre categorization like UK-based composer, producer and sound engineer Matthew Herbert. Sometimes producing under the aliases Herbert, Mr. Vertigo, Doctor Rockit, or Radio Boy, he has been at the helm of a jaw-dropping number of projects. Known for his use of found sounds, unconventional recording methods and his ability to embrace mistakes, Herbert is no doubt a master innovator in sound design and engineering. Herbert has supplied remixes for such notable artists as Bjork, R.E.M., Serge Gainsbourg and Yoko Ono.
