Cold Chisel

Cold Chisel is a rock band from Adelaide, Australia that has been performing off-and-on to widespread commercial and critical acclaim within its native Australia and New Zealand. Although the band's fame never truly spread internationally, Cold Chisel found that its special brand of hard rock would take Australia by storm throughout the 1970s and 1980s, making the need to gain fans outside of the country almost unnecessary. The band never earned any awards for outstanding originality, but Cold Chisel was able to take many of the rock styles that were particularly popular during the period and successfully make it their own.
