George Gershwin

George Gershwin is a celebrated American composer and pianist, whose music has become integrated into the fabric of American popular culture. His upbeat, rich compositions were featured on Broadway, in films and on television. His music integrates blues, classical and jazz styles and some of his most famous works are An American in Paris, Porgy and Bess, Funny Face, and the compositions "I Got Rhythm," "Rhapsody in Blue," "Summertime" and "It Ain't Necessarily So."
