Sheer Terror

Sheer Terror is a hardcore punk band from New York City that is generally considered to be one of the major pioneers of a heavier style of hardcore punk throughout the 1980s and 1990s. After forming in 1984, Sheer Terror's style of heavy metal-infused punk was met with much enthusiasm on New York City's burgeoning hardcore scene, and the band would last until 1998 before breaking up to pursue solo activities. As of 2010, Sheer Terror reformed with a new line-up that promises to continue the band's legacy in the new millennium.
