Based in Cleveland, OH Integrity is a hardcore band that has been creating a fusion of metalcore and hardcore punk since its formation in 1988. Known for diving into themes of anguish, failed relationships and the classic apocalyptic visions of metal music, the band first released its heavy sound in 1991 with its debut album Those Who Fear Tomorrow. Integrity fit nicely into the mainstream hardcore scene of the early 1990s and despite a shifting lineup that featured up to four drummers at one point, the band went on to release its most lucrative string of albums with Victory Records throughout the decade. From 1995's System Overload to 1999's Integrity 2000, the band's metallic punk sound resonated well with both Western and European audiences.
