The Calling is a Los Angeles-based alternative rock band that was formed in 1996 by lead singer Alex Band and guitarist Aaron Kamin. The group is probably best known for its 2001 hit single "Wherever You Will Go," which topped the Adust Top 40 for 23 weeks. Though the group took an extended hiatus from 2005 to 2013, it continues to release music and tour.
