Rob Thomas

Throughout the 1990s, Rob Thomas was riding high on a string of successful hits with his pop rock band Matchbox 20. Though the band continues to perform, Thomas has taken to writing and performing solo on occasion. His material outside of Matchbox 20 is still characteristically similar to erstwhile band, but Thomas' voice shines through more clearly. He has collaborated with several prominent individuals like Santana, Tom Petty, Mick Jagger and Willie Nelson. Thomas has spent enough time on the road to know how to impress audiences when he's singing in a live setting.
