Dama do Bling (born Ivannea Jose) is an African hip-hop musician from Mozambique. Sometimes referred to as her country's answer to Lil' Kim, she creates a unique rap style that borrows from crunk, as well as from traditional Mozambique music. In 2007, she received several nominations for her songs and music videos at the Channel O Music Video Awards, including nods for "Best Female Video" and "Video of the Year." In addition to her music career, Dama do Bling maintains a number of other entrepreneurial pursuits, such as her book writing and clothing designing interests.
