DJ Dus aka El Dusty

DJ Dus aka El Dusty is the stage name of artist Dusty Oliveira from Corpus Christi, Texas who uses 1970s Jamaican soundsystems to develop a mixed sound of reggae, hip-hop and traditional Columbian music known as cumbia. In between creating his brand of new cumbia music, DJ Dus also produces and mixes for artists such as DJ Kane, Los Kumbia Kings and La Conquista. DJ Dus is also known for his mashup project, Master Blaster, which helps him further bridge the gap between the cumbia underground and DJ culture.
