Whirr

Whirr is a shoegaze band from the San Francisco Bay Area. Created in 2010, the group earned widespread national attention with its 2012 debut album, Pipe Dreams, before breaking into international audiences with the follow-up record, Sway, in 2014. Though the group is often compared to Slowdive or My Bloody Valentine, Whirr offers a punk rock spin on the romantic and distorted sound of the original wave of shoegaze in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
