Vivian Girls

If three girls decided to form a lo-fi surf rock outfit to compete in their high school's battle of the bands competition, they'd probably sound a bit like Vivian Girls. The Brooklyn based trio got its start 2007, playing a good amount of shows in its native region, building up a dedicated following and a certain amount of buzz that followed the group when it went on the road. Though all the members of the band aren't extremely talented instrumentalists, all three of the group's players know how to build sonic creations with each other and the end result is undeniably catchy and easy to like.
