As a Dutch rapper, Kraantje Pappie created his first mixtape in 2008 and soon after signed with rap label Noah's Ark. However, it wasn't until 2012 that Kraantje Pappie rose to national fame with his debut album Crane, which featured the track "Waar Is Kraan," a hit that managed to energize people at parties and festivals throughout the country. His razor sharp flow and humorist lines, mixed with pumping beats, turned out to be a formula for success. After touring both the Netherlands and popular holiday destinations extensively, Pappie has grown into one of the most notorious live performers and, therefore, welcomed acts at festivals, particularly after his hit 2013 album Crane II.
