Penetration is a punk rock band who emerged out of County Durham, England in 1976. While the group's first single "Don't Dictate," went on to become a punk rock classic, and its 1978 debut record Moving Targets, found a quick following in the UK's burgeoning punk scene, Penetration disbanded in 1980 after a grueling world tour and disappointing sophomore effort. With founder and lead vocalist Pauline Murray at the helm, the band reformed in 2001 and continues to spread its distinctive brand of British punk across its international fan base.
