Based in London, Public Service Broadcasting is an electronic music trio consisting of J. Willgoose, Esq., Wrigglesworth and JF Abraham. With a repertoire of both acoustic and electronic instruments, Public Service Broadcasting released its debut EP, titled EP One, in 2010. The band's sophomore EP, The War Room was released in 2012. Initially consisting of only Willgoose and Wrigglesworth, the group was joined by Abraham in 2017 when it released its single "Progress." With songs like "They Gave Me a Lamp" and "People Will Always Need Coal," the album Every Valley, talks about the historic coal mining industry of the Welsh valley. Public Service Broadcasting has developed its own distinct music video style by sampling footage of old public information films and vintage propaganda material, which ultimately sheds light on the past with futuristic music.
