Mirah

Mirah is a New York-based singer/songwriter who has achieved noted success in the American indie scene since releasing her debut EP, Storageland, in 1997. Born and raised in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, Mirah recognized an artistic passion in herself at an early age, performing when she was 18 years old and eventually enrolling at the experimental educational institute Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. Though she explored an unpolished, unrefined folksy sound on Storageland, Mirah has gone on to experiment with several genres and musical styles on the well received albums that she continues to release.
