Nina Zilli

Maria Chiara Fraschetta, who performs and releases music under her Nina Zilli guise, is a world-beat singer/songwriter from Piacenza, Italy. Having lived in a number of diverse cities during her youth including Dubin, Ireland; Gossolengo, Italy as well as Chicago and New York, Zilli was able to soak up an astonishing amount of culture in each of these cities. Developing a strong interest in music, Zilli would go on to study opera singing for a few years before officially launching her solo career in 2010 with the release of her debut LP, Sempre Lontano.
