Heights is a post hardcore band that emerged out of Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, in 2009. After crafting a melodic hardcore sound with undertones of metalcore, the band dropped its debut LP, Dead Ends, in 2011. Critically acclaimed by both hardcore and heavy metal music fans, the album led to several national tours and festival appearances for the band, allowing it to collect a widespread fan base through most of Europe and Australia. Heights released its follow-up full-length album, Old Lies For Young Lives, in 2013.
