Formed in 2002 Vektor is a trash metal band from Tempe, AZ that found a following in the underground metal scene in Phoenix. Self-described as a sci-fi trash, the band is known for its technical speed thrash and progressive sensibility. Upon releasing its debut album Black Future in 2009, Vektor embarked on its first national tour of the US that was extended into the following year. The band dropped its follow-up effort Outer Isolation, in 2011.
