John Cleese

If a person knows something about British humor, they know who John Cleese is. The famed actor, writer and director got his big break staring in the seminal English comedy troupe Monty Python and after the group of comedians disbanded in 1983 Cleese went on to achieve widespread popularity as an actor in several movies. The intelligent wit that Cleese posses is sharp, but not rude or crass - a rare find amongst today's mean-hearted comedians.
