Balmorhea

Classical minimalist sextet Balmorhea was formed in Austin, TX in 2006 by Rob Lowe (not the actor) and Michael Muller. Drawing on influences from the old masters, like Beethoven and Debussy, as well as modern composers, like Max Richter and John Cage, Balmorhea creates unique, experimental-meets-classical compositions that have won the ensemble national acclaim.
