Pharmakon

Pharmakon is the experimental musical project of New York-based artist Margaret Chardiet. Creating multi-layered, avant-garde soundscapes, that are undoubtedly influenced by electronic drone pioneers of the 1950s and 1960s, Pharmakon has received a hefty amount of critical laudation for her uniquely acrid sound. Having gigged around the New York area for several years, polishing her explosive live show, before releasing her 2013 debut LP, Abandon, Pharmakon established herself as powerful and engaging performance artist.
