Spiritual Beggars

Spiritual Beggars is a hard rock band from Sweden that was formed in 1993 with the intention of blending stoner and drone metal sensibilities into the fray of more streamlined rock music. Releasing its eponymously-titled debut album in 1994, the LP helped establish Spiritual Beggars as a formidable force on the multifaceted Swedish metal scene. Though the band has never grown into a crossover success with mainstream popularity, it's nevertheless content being a thriving member of its own geographical and genre-specific music community.
