Corrosion of Conformity

North Carolina-based heavy metal band Corrosion of Conformity was formed in 1982 by Woody Weatherman, Reed Mullin and Mike Dean. Also known as C.O.C., the band released seven studio albums starting with its 1984 debut Eye for an Eye, before going on a hiatus in 2006. Corrosion of Conformity returned in 2010 with long time vocalist Pepper Keenan as well as founding members Weatherman on lead guitar, Mullin on drums and Dean on bass. The band released its eighth studio album in 2012, exposing its heavy metal/hardcore punk sound to a new generation of fans.
