Based in Providence, Rhode Island Detroit Rebellion is a blues rock duo that doesn't shy away from the gritty origins of blues music. Composed of vocalist and guitarist Jeff Toste and drummer Michael Lamatia Jr., the band began as Toste's solo tribute to old school blues and Americana and quickly evolved when Lamatia joined. The result is a textured sound of layered guitar riffs and chugging rhythms that employs a less is more ethic compared to more mainstream blues rock outfits. Detroit Rebellion released its sophomore EP Fork In The Road, in 2013.
