Bobbie Allen is an indie pop singer/songwriter from Washington D.C. who operates under the moniker Young Summer. After landing an opening gig for Nashville-based singer/songwriter Trent Dabbs, she sparked a friendship with the artist and ended up teaming up with him as well as producer Jeremy Bose for Young Summer's debut EP, Fever Dream. Released in 2013, the album offers a synthpop sound that is anchored by Allen's ethereal, bluesy vocals and bittersweet lyrics.
