Side Effect

Side Effect is an alternative rock band from Yangon, Myanmar that was founded in 2004. Channeling the socio-political turmoil that has run rife through daily life in Myanmar for decades, Side Effect has managed to capture a blatant disconnect between the country's people and government through some extremely pertinent music. Setting its poetic lyrics against a sonic backlay of power pop and post grunge stylings, Side Effect has manged to become one of the more seminal Myanmar rock bands of its generation.
