Syd Arthur is a rock and roll band from Canterbury, England that uses subtle elements of psychedelia, funk and jazz to create its own brand of progressive rock. After building Wicker Studios in 2009, the group self-recorded and released its first record, the Moving World EP, in 2011. The four-piece outfit spent the subsequent year perfecting its sound on the road and eventually entered the studio again, this time to record its first full-length effort. Syd Arthur emerged in 2012 with On An On, an album that explores both hard and soft music landscapes on a sonic journey of the future of rock and roll.
