Battle Tapes

Battle Tapes is a Los Angeles-based electronic rock band that was founded in 2010. With throbbing synths, menacing rhythms and an hard-edged industrial sound, Battle Tapes manages to create a fairly sinister sound for itself with defined pop hooks. Though the group's finely manicured and well produced sound has translated well to studio releases, beginning with its 2011 debut EP Sleep Walker, Battle Tapes has also built a strong reputation for itself as a live band by frequently playing gigs in the Hollywood, Silver Lake and Echo Park neighborhoods of Los Angeles.
