Booba is a pseudonym for Elie Yaffa, a French rapper from Paris. He began his career as part of the rap group Lunatic and later left the group to pursue a solo career. Booba released his debut album, Temps Mort, in 2002 and since then he has managed to build a solid reputation as one of the more successful French rappers of his generation.
