Kevin Gates

Kevin Gates is a rapper from Baton Rouge, Louisiana who initially started rapping at 14 years old. Going on to make music with fellow Louisiana rappers Webble and Lil Boosie in 2007, Gates would cut his teeth on the underground hip-hop circuit before ultimately breaking ground with the mainstream. Gates eventually released his debut album, Islah, in 2016 and the LP's blend of Southern hip-hop production met with modern lyrical flow helped establish Gates as a formidable talent.
