Ace of Base is Swedish pop-rock band that rose to success in the 1990s with a string of successful electropop singles.The band's debut album Happy Nation / The Sign catapulted the group to international attention in 1993 while also establishing its signature, dance-inducing Europop style. After influencing an entire generation of pop stars such as Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, Ace of Base continues to release new music, such as the 2010 EP, The Golden Ratio.
