When Brittney Denise Parks, aka Sudan Archives, heard Northeast African style of violin music, she knew that she could use it as a base for some unique and exciting. She experimented with this music and successfully managed to blend it with R&B and electronic music, and this became the sound of Sudan Archives. She debuted with an eponymous EP in 2017, a collection of songs which she wrote and produced all by herself. Her songs have been praised by major music magazines for their uniqueness, bold experimentation and charm. The songs “Come Meh Way” and "Nont for Sale" are some of her most popular tracks.
